I think you don't understand photography.

I don't really care to have an in depth discussion of self defense scenarios because I don't think that helps us understand common sense gun regulation any better. I'm sure you can find people making that argument if you are curious. My point is not that the AR-15 is an appropriate self defense weapon but that there are better arguments you could have made, and that the one you did make lost someone who is already sympathetic to your position.

The domestic violence thing was about a potential gun regulation, not a scenario. People with domestic violence convictions are overrepresented among murderers and mass shooters. So it would make sense to prevent them from obtaining guns.

It's useless for hunting, but you identify circumstances it's useful in. You say it's useless for self defense because it's bulky, I've heard a hundred people say it's ideal because it's easier to be proficient with a rifle than with a pistol.

Say whatever you want, but when you make absolute statements like that, it damages your credibility. That's my feedback for you.

How attractive you find this woman really isn't material to how good or bad a photo is. If you've never seen a horrible photo of yourself, it's because your friends deleted them.

I'm not a 1A guy, I think that for instance people with a history of domestic violence shouldn't be armed (that is what I would cite as "common sense"), but this statement really damages your credibility. Of course semiautomatic rifles are useful for both hunting and for self defense. They are effective weapons. That's the problem.

Owens is unhinged. She's also claiming the French government are trying to have her killed because she's claiming their first lady is secretly transgender. It's not just the "MSM" who are pointing out she has no credibility, it's also people like Ben Shapiro from her same corner of the media.

To me it looks like when you take a bunch of pictures while someone is talking and some of them look extremely awkward because their mouth in a weird shape.

Nearly all of the photos of her I can find are of her walking to and from a car. The others (which were very few and only one of which I thought was a good photo) seem like social media pics that news agencies probably couldn't publish. That does make more challenging to get a good picture of her, but I have a hard time believing they couldn't have done better that the one at the top of the article. It's particularly bad.

It's clear in context that they mean your background in computer security and political activism, I don't know where you are getting the idea that it's an comment on your ethnicity.

They weren't "downvoted", they're banned for being a troll who posts nonsense intimating they're an AI who's going to wipe out humanity.

It's funny how people always allude to fanatical Rust developers in the most tangential threads, but they never actually turn up and demand we rewrite the entire Kernel in Rust or whatever terrible takes they're alleged to have.
