poxlr··on Wikipedia Offline Reader for ESP32 CYD
That is so nice. I'm building an ink display with ESP32 as a controller. I was thinking about putting something like this to show a random Wikipedia article a day. I might steal this from you.
poxlr··on Show HN: AI Agents for Osint/Sigint
How do you cut costs that much? And have you ever tested yourselves with an independent third‑party benchmark? I know and I use FireCrawl a lot, all of their products, because they're open source in some parts and it's incredible. What about you guys? How can you make yourself trustable?
poxlr··on Ask HN: Those making $500/month on side projects in 2026 – Show and tell
I am making super passively $800 a month with a very basic web app. It is a site where you create digital gifts for your loved ones. You give me the data, I put everything in a nicely designed dashboard, and you get to send a public link. Here it is for the proof www.mrrplanet.com/p/your-love-page or here it is for the proof https://trustmrr.com/startup/your-love-page

I'm doing okay, to be honest. I'm not putting this money towards anything. I just get the money into my bank account and I become extremely happy about it because it is not life‑changing money, but it is internet money, so it's always extremely attractive. But it is not something that you do in a day, I think, because I've been working on this project for three months. I released it to the public, and then after a couple months it just exploded with Google Search. Now I get $30 to $20 per day, every day, completely passively.

poxlr··on Ask HN: Why do we need MCP?
MCP and APIs are extremely similar, but MCP provides a common protocol that everyone can follow, so every agent can use the same protocol regardless of whether the backend uses REST, OpenAPI, or GraphQL. It will just work, and agents know how to crawl other MCPs; therefore, providing an MCP tool makes it much easier for an agent to develop a usage pattern.
poxlr··on Ask HN: How to break Claude Code addiction?
Okay, I think the first problem is calling it an addiction because it is a similar feeling if you want to keep coding in machine code instead of moving higher in the hierarchy and start working with C++. It is an extremely handy tool to be able to produce some work, so you shouldn't take it off your belt. However, I will talk about Gemini addiction, where I can't even decide which color of shoes I should buy. I'm asking it to pick for me, which is terrible. So there is that.
