• A Daily Challenge

• More achievements to unlock

• Smoother animations with 60–120 FPS support

• More ways to earn rewards daily

pompeii··on Show HN: I reverse engineered top websites to build an animated UI library
I thought I was going to get the code, like the raw code, because I want to modify some styles/components. Instead, I received the component, and I can't make modifications. For example, the "DataFeedingIn" component; I want to be able to change the design, but I received the component without much capability for modification.

i pay $50 for nothing :(

pompeii··on Show HN: I rebuilt my AI browser game using 100 pieces of feedback from HN
Hey, quick feedback:

Can the walking sound be turned off when I jump? Right now, if I jump and keep moving forward, the sound of walking still plays, which is a bit annoying. When I jump, I expect not to hear steps; instead, I would prefer a jump sound, something to signal to my brain that I'm not walking on air.

pompeii··on Nintendo Switch 2: Zelda Hero of Time
hmm make sense, but from my understanding the all-stars collection was the same game and not remasterd, right?
pompeii··on I made a simple casual game, needs some tester [Testflight – iOS]]
the game is called "ink."

it's a very simple, casual game with a leaderboard that resets weekly, giving players the chance to compete for the top spot every week.

my plan is to open-source the code so the community can contribute and add more simple games to the platform. right now, it features two basic games, with a third one in the works. once that's ready, i'll open up the code for everyone to explore and expand upon

tech stack: SwiftUI, GameCenter, Supabase

pompeii··on SnipKey – iOS App (Free)
Thanks for taking the time to take a look at the app, the app store link is working now, probably some lag issues in app store while update their stores

Yes, one of the requirements is to be at the latest OS because is using the latest feature from Swift/SwiftData

pompeii··on SnipKey – iOS App (Free)
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to download the app! Privacy was the first thing on my mind also I’m looking to open source the code as well after some cleanup

1- private items are unlock by faceid/touchid/phone code 2- going to take a look at the iPhone SE keyboard, looks like is different from iPhone that has dynamic island/notch 3- the app is completely free, I thought on add some plans, but I change my mind to keep it free forever

pompeii··on SnipKey – iOS App (Free)
Hey everyone! I'm excited to share my latest project, SnipKey, a fully native keyboard extension I developed for iOS using Swift. This app allows you to easily save and access snippets like text, URLs, and images directly from your keyboard.

A bit about my journey: Although I started with React Native, I wanted to dive deeper into the Apple ecosystem and decided to build something entirely in Swift. SnipKey is the result of that transition, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out.

The app respects your privacy while offering functionality like saving images directly from your gallery (with your permission, of course).

I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback, and I’m here for any questions you might have about the app or the development process. Plus, if you've got ideas or features you'd love to see, let's chat!

Thanks for checking it out! You can download SnipKey from the App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/snipkey/id6480381137. Would love to hear your thoughts and reviews (if you have any time)!

(btw: no subscription needed, completely ad-free)
