polyterative··on 90% of Claude-linked output going to GitHub repos w <2 stars
I have developed five applications for my Mac using claude that I made for myself. I'm perfectly happy with the setup. The projects help me solve daily problems. I could never have had the time or the skill to do them myself.

polyterative··on Are LLM merge rates not getting better?
I have a similar experience. My hobby project was put on hold after a burnout and lack of motivation. I got a big burst of energy back when I started implementing some long desired features quickly with these new models. I was able to get the project to the point of what I consider is maturity. I did in a month during free time the kind of work that would have burned me up in a good six months fulltime.

polyterative··on 2026 will be my year of the Linux desktop
Given the current situation regarding the hardware getting more pricey, I was so fed up with the inconsistencies, the constant micro lagging frame rate drops that I finally bit the bullet on a Mac studio a couple of weeks ago. This happened after 17 years of being a Windows user and having built more than 20 machines unfortunately Linux does not have a lot commercial software that I needed

5900X here with mobo from 2019. Will upgrade my GPU or get a mac if I'm able to setup my wacom pen the way I want. Either way I will keep the current machine

this script messes up pen tablet settings and destroyed usability with my wacom pen. Good script just don't use default settings if you use wacom stuff
polyterative··on Who killed the rave?

polyterative··on Ask HN: What apps have you created for your own use?
I've built a tool for musicians using modular gear.

This is a tool for synth people. What is cool about my tool is that I show the signal flow with a graph. Drag and drop planner.

polyterative··on Ask HN: Lessons learned from implementing user-facing analytics / dashboards?
make as many metrics as you can configurable. what I mean is that charts origin of data should be configurable,in its form and in its colors. also allow users to filter the data incoming to the charts, users love messing up with the data before exporting them to their pointless and boring powerpoint presentation
