I still think ClickMonitorDDC[1] is the far superior app (for me), as it allows time scheduling for setting brightness by time of day, keyboard and mouse shortcuts, macros, scripting, setting brightness on a per app basis, syncing brightness across multiple monitors with offsets, and also switching monitor profiles and video inputs from Windows, plus several debug features like re-reading or re-writing EPROM data from monitors who don't like to play ball.
