The internet is the internet if you want to restrict what people can see on the internet the only solution is to not have access to it at all

> Theory on facebook failure/Google failure to innovate
Porn is everywhere and there is no way to prevent that.
The reality is that Google is trying to auto recognize things that humans could categorize themselves, and without a lot of work. And the owner of the information should not be the only one able to do that. We need more collaboration. The biggest pain is how to create a categorization system that works for everyone. I haven't seen any yet
All the examples of the articles are good, but there are two many to learn and remember. I follow one and only one rule when I ride my bike. Assume you can get killed at every time and do not trust anything.
Sometime I see people wanting to turn left, raising their left hand and then turning without never looking backward to check if the following car is not trying to pass them. These people are crazy and want to die. Always look backward before doing anything else or if a car is approaching.
Many people assume that as a bike rider they have rights and as a result they should be respected by cars, and end up in dangerous situations because of that. Do not trust anything if you want to stay alive
Will Notion gains new paying user thanks to Cron ? probably not
Will it helps Notion improve its product ? Yeah probably on the calendar part, but that's only usefull for B2C, and notion focus a lot on B2B no (They even mention the workplace of the future) ?
Is it a acqui-hire ? Then why keep the products separate ?
I'm not blind so for sure I won't really care about accessibility but honest question why not use an ide developed for blind people instead of using the same as non blind people?
"Unknown Host

One can still imagine a scenario where you can loose your phone AND your house AND another recovery method etc
It is no different than been fired I don't understand the noise it is making
> Simply put, instead of expecting someone (e.g., product managers) to tell you which product features to develop, you should be able to tell what are the most critical problems your users or product are facing and find the best solutions that fit into your product and engineering strategy.
It's cool sometime to have developers with a product mindset, because they understand better the value they are bringing and can help brainstorming. But first if you had only product-mindset people everyone would want to ship different features and nothing would be shipped. And also the more time developers spend understanding customers the less time they spend coding.
I should probably write a satirical article arguing that "Coding should not be left to developers as product managers should code things much closer from their plan"
