pollyannas··on Blockchain Is Merely a Marketing Instrument
Your arguments don't hold. The point about blockchains in general is: it's an interesting new technology. Do you disagree?

Since we can agree on that, what is wrong about people trying to put that technology into practice? No one has ever claimed some specific blockchain application would be profitable, but people are trying to put that thing into use. What is the problem with that?

pollyannas··on Show HN: A Living Ledger – Visualization of the Ripple Network in Real-Time
Some time ago I had to look for details on a transaction I did on Ripple and couldn't find a simple website that took a transaction id and showed me details on that transaction. Why is that?

I see you're linking to Bithomp here, and that's what I found, the only one, but still it wasn't sufficient. Bithomp is confusing and doesn't show all information, just a quick (and confusing) summary.

pollyannas··on Show HN: I'm not a programer and I'm building a Saas task-manager
If you're learning to code you're becoming a programmer.

Only a programmer can write a program, no one else.

pollyannas··on Show HN: Coisas, an open-source client-side CMS for static site generators
Why would anyone want to use it to edit files on their own computer?
pollyannas··on Show HN: CTRL+F for audio
Best headline ever written.
pollyannas··on Show HN: Seashells – Pipe output from CLI apps to the web in real time
I love any service that you can use without registering.
pollyannas··on Show HN: Very basic blockchain-free cryptocurrency PoC in Python
So this is basically a blockchain, but with transactions instead of blocks, and diverging-then-converging graph instead of a linear sequence of blocks (like a real family graph instead of just one-parent-one-child families common in blockchains). Looks nice, what are the problems with the approach? (the paper only lists the benefits).
pollyannas··on Show HN: Very basic blockchain-free cryptocurrency PoC in Python
What makes it "scientific"? The fact that it is a PDF and the impersonal tone?
pollyannas··on Show HN: A curated list of awesome cryptocurrencies
I thought this would be more than just a list, that it would contain some information, a brief overview, a table of features of those currencies, but no, it's just a list.
pollyannas··on Show HN: UINotebook – A notebook for app prototypes
So this is basically a simple paper notebook with no special features? Nothing against that, but why advertise it as being more than that?
