Actually I wanna use langchain. OpwnAI is not free. I wanted to test two use cases:

- chat with documents(pdf, doc etc)

- chat with website. Like, if I integrate with an ecommerce site, I can ask questions from the website. What options do I have in free for both cloud and locally?

This looks cool so can it be used to feed Website/Products data in CSV/JSON format and "chat" with it?

Pardon my ignorance in advance but could it be used to "chat" with PDFs and websites? I am looking for OpenAI alternatives as I am in learning phase

so I have to pick a certain MySQL type?

Speaking of RDBMs, how good are UUIDs when making joins and fetching a certain record?

You are letting them to crawl your site and earn money, they came up with a genius idea to pay you. Simple

They are business, not some random visitor. Google scrapes websites all the time, provide Adsense, a way to earn money.

are OpenAI grifters? When Google can pay, why not them?

Just a random thought: While they are already earning money by scraping data, would it not be nice if they pay the site owners a certain amount of the money they earn?

I am not surprised. On multiple occasions I was offered a job/project because of my blog and github.

tbh, this is not my issue. My only complain with Goodreads is their pathetic UI. My own purpose of using Goodreads is tracking and the UI is so confusing that it takes me a while to figure out how to find the last page I had read and then update it.

AS far as tracking is concerned, Goodreads works fine for me. I am not sure why should I use it.

Am I the only lucky person who never invested a dime for GPT4?

I can't invest in OpenAI atm, any alternative of it so that I can make a "chatting interface" for PDF?

Found some negative comments by Indians but then this is a typical attitude of subcontinent, people hardly celebrate good things. I experience same here in Pakistan.
