Also, getting a job after a startup failure might be easy in the US or other developed countries, but this will not be the situation in a country like India, where the supply of cheap labor far exceeds the demand and only people from elite university titles will be able to get back to a job better than their last one.

Another point, instead of the email and notify flow, if I show you a CTA called 'Get Started' and on clicking I open the google form to collect your interests, would that be better?

First of all, thanks for your feedback. The interests that you want to talk about could be as broad as 'Sports' or it could be about a single match of Football. You are free to tell us your interests if they don't already exist on the platform. And I guess most of the popular interests among people within a particular area or geography would keep on changing based on current events. We believe people will use this platform to talk about those interests and passions which they can't talk about right now within their friend/family circle.

We are working very hard on actual product and the current MVP/Beta for which we are accepting signups is just a bare-bones version built to get few early adopters to try out the platform so that we can collect detailed feedback about what is working and what is not and update our actual product with these insights. But if it repels users from trying out the product, I will surely remove it. Again, thanks for your insights, it would help us a lot. And please sign up for our beta :)

I have worked as an Android developer for 2 years at a startup and the worst thing is the micro-managing part. Companies take so many tests for developers and hire project managers or product managers who don't know shit about tech or how anything works. All they know is to ask "When will it be done?" and don't care about the complexity of the implementation or the time taken to do something the right way , an optimised solution. Another issue is releasing app/software without thorough testing and then blaming the developers for any bugs and crashes. Third and very important aspect is the "Why?". Nobody cares to explain why we are doing things certain way, why are we changing the designs, why are we moving the button, etc. Developers are not robots whom you can give any task and expect them to complete it in a ziffy. Developers want to understand the reason behind the changes, the results of these changes so that they know they are doing something worth the time and effort.
