perone··on Digispark Pro – tiny, Arduino ready, mobile and usb dev board
For those who are interested, there is also another one called Femtoduino, very small too: http://www.femtoduino.com/
perone··on Announcing Pyston: an upcoming, JIT-based Python implementation
From Dropbox to the python-dev mailing list:

"(...). As for Unladen Swallow, there are some reasons to think that LLVM has matured greatly in the past few years, particularly in the JIT engine which has been completely replaced. I'm not sure if that's the only part to the story; I'd be interested in talking with any of the people who were involved or knowledgeable about the project."

perone··on How the Bitcoin protocol actually works
Recently, a new patch is going to enter in the bitcoin-qt client that increases the default size of the block for miners from 50k to 300k to accomodate higher transaction volume.
perone··on How the Bitcoin protocol actually works
Trying to answer: 1. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Scalability#Storage 2. This is actually implemented by the client and is not visible to the user, the bitcoin-qt client creates hidden change addresses that are not shown to the user, so you should see it as a "backend implementation" and not something you'll see in your transaction list.
perone··on GitHub announces 3D File Diffs
And they still didn't implemented a visualization for SVG ?
perone··on Embedded Database Engine Written in Python
Fist time I saw a pyc file commited lol.

I've written something [1] related to this if someone is interested.

perone··on LLVM Tutorial
I believe that it has no comments because this tutorial is around for years and almost everyone who knows LLVM have already read it.
perone··on NASA releases stunning photos of Earth at night

perone··on Raspberry Pi book by The Pragmatic Programmers
I saw the ToC and almost all information from the book seems to be present on the elinux wiki for the RPi, looks like it is a very basic introduction to the RPi indeed.
perone··on Show HN: Stallion - Python Package Manager
Thanks, that is the aim, to serve like a frontend for pip and PyPI.
perone··on Show HN: Stallion - Python Package Manager
Yeah, you're right, I misunderstood the previous question. It would be a nice feature indeed, I'll take a look on that, thanks for the feedback.
perone··on Show HN: Stallion - Python Package Manager
I'm planning something like this, the only issue is the version formats hell, some packages uses some unusual version format sometimes, something like this will be implemented but always with confirmation, which isn't very elegant when you have lots of packages to upgrade.
perone··on Show HN: Stallion - Python Package Manager
Yes it supports virtualenv, thanks.
perone··on Show HN: Stallion - Python Package Manager
Thanks. I still need to work on this, but its on the roadmap to implement. I really want to support PyPI mirrors, like crate.io, etc.
perone··on Google maps 8bit quest mode. A setup for 4/1 perhaps?
Just look on the copyright message in bottom right: SQUARE ENIX. Final fantasy.
perone··on Numba - A NumPy aware (LLVM-based) optimizing compiler for Python
Kudos for forking and working on an alternative version of llvm-py.
perone··on The Little White Box That Can Hack Your Network
This is a nice project for a Raspberry Pi.
perone··on Visualizing Process Execution
I've made something very similar, but using Ubigraph and for Python: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2kyssgtUvM

Great thanks man =)
perone··on Benchmark of PyPy, Unladen S., Jython, CPython, Psyco in Rastrigin optimization
Sorry for the english guys =(
perone··on Benchmark of PyPy, Unladen S., Jython, CPython, Psyco in Rastrigin optimization
Yep, a lot of modules still needs to be ported. There is some people (http://ademan.wordpress.com/) working in GSoC to get numpy running on PyPy for example.
perone··on Benchmark of PyPy, Unladen S., Jython, CPython, Psyco in Rastrigin optimization
Next time I'll check memory footprint between implementations, sorry for now =(
perone··on Benchmark of PyPy, Unladen S., Jython, CPython, Psyco in Rastrigin optimization
No IronPython this time =( it doesn't work well with Mono, and all testes were performed in Linux, so it's unfair to use only one in Windows OS. Soon I got time I'll test it again, this time checking memory footprint, etc...
perone··on How To Hack A Brazilian Power Company
Bullshit, the control of power transmission is not connected in internet or other LAN with PCs accessing it, the control of the power transmission here in Brazil uses security patterns like voice analysis, etc...
