Also earthquakes. Living in the California, I'm actually very impressed with Twitter's trending searches. I can always find few people tweeting about earthquake within 10seconds of an earthquake.
i'm pretty sure that's not the reason for the birth of Swift. Trying to access the 20th element from an array of 2 elements would cause a crash in almost all languages including Objective-C which Swift replaced.
I would have gladly paid $62/mo for gigabit speeds but i felt like i was overpaying them by $22 because of their ads.
if the issue is the amount Reddit charge per call, why can't those third party apps charge their users more based on the API charge? the whole thing seems bit immature from both sides.
except Discord sucks when you try to browse anything while offline. absolutely no caching whatsoever on their Android client which sucks. i try to load up some items to read while on the plane before take off and Discord is one of the worst apps to use while offline. the reddit client i use (Sync), Twitter, Chrome etc. does a good job of caching its contents for immediate use. Discord won't even load channels on the server let alone any messages.
lowering the price for 2-3mos will make some people wait for next month to get it for a cheaper price. if enough people does that, it could affect their quarter.
i do like the incentives idea. if someone complains within x days, give them the same incentive or offer something else.
