I know a lot of people in this crowd probably run across these situations all the time but a lot of people don't realize why exactly their sites got hacked and what the purpose is. Thank you so much again for reading and checking this out.
Junior Web Developer with SEO Experience - We are seeking a web developer to compliment our current operations. We are basically looking for someone with a lot of front end experience (HTML/CSS) but knows their way around PHP/Python in particular popular CMS's such as WordPress, Magento, etc. Basically someone that will help fix all the stuff that we break :)

Affiliate marketing is an emotional roller coaster, not just in the sense that the money goes up and down so much. It is evertything, constantly watching traffic and analytics is very draining. It becomes almost impossible to go on vacation when things are bad. Almost worse wehn things are going good because all you are worried about doing is scaling.
Like a few other people in this thread, I've been out of the game for a while. I still have a few profitable campaigns that I am lucky enough to have nailed down to the point where I'll dominate as long as the niche is alive. I stopped innovating and testing new things because the industry is so god damn shady. Not just the CPA offers, I've had affiliate managers steal my campaign creative ideas, networks continually not pay me out and so many people fk me over.
Part of me thinks I would still be in the hustle if I didn't get married and have a kid, but for me it isn't something you can do if you want to responsibly sustain a household.
For anyone looking to get into this: pick a product (CPA, CPS) that you can get behind mentally. Can I promote this? Do I know how to sell this? Do I know how to write creative ads that will be better than the next guys?
In addition to tech, I like working with wood, electronics, and firearms. Would like to be able to build cooler things with electronics, wood and be a better shooter. I do all of these things a lot in my spare time but would like to do so more often.
Perhaps the next step in the evolution of this logo would be to add some CSS selectors to the text (shadow, glow) for readability purposes against img. backgrounds.
Hope you enjoy and don't flame me too bad I am still a beginner!
I honestly started off just because I knew blogging was good for SEO, but now I love blogging and would do it even if no one read my posts.
Since the time I started blogging a few years ago, our traffic has SOARED in ways I never thought it would.
I focus on writing about general news in the industry as well as theory. As far as best practices:
1. The number 1 rule I stick by is only write posts that I would read myself, and that I am proud of.
2. I try not to newsjack, if I can be one of the first people to write about a piece of news that is going on in the industry I will take that as an opportunity. When that happens the traffic comes pouring in.
3. Although I do a lot of SEO myself, I don't ever worry about stuff like keyword density or other stuff that could drive away readers.
We've had dozens of clients and employee hires that have found us through reading our blog.
I've made 2 tables and a desk. It started out of necessity: I have a really weird obtuse-angled wall that no desk would fit inside. Wrote a post about it if anyone wants to see. http://bit.ly/1k6XiU7
Haven't moved onto chairs/couches etc because the whole upholstery thing kind of scares me. Also - you can easily build most furniture for a few hundred dollars, but you have to look for it! I have a construction dumpster near my house right now with a ton of old pallets they are throwing out, that right there is enough to make some really cool stuff. Also re-purposing is really "in" right now so in my opinion even better :)
