Honestly I feel like a team that communicates healthily in channels on slack kinda defeats the entire purpose of stand ups. At my current job, we even have the customers for my team in slack channels and they are highly communicative, so honestly it makes the whole scrum model seem just a waste of time when I can start a question/thread right in slack with the product owners/customers
It's them trying to go backwards. Originally free only worked on desktop. When they allowed mobile on free, a lot of people cancelled their premium. The other really crappy part, premium was only $12 then. I don't really see modern lastpass as 3x more valuable then it was then.
I think they are just betting on enough people staying because people are too scared to swap
I haven't used private packages, but it astonishes me you don't just add private packages with some kind of flag so it knows to not try to pull a public package.
Anyone who uses this must have already understood and just overlooked this vulnerability when they realize their private package must have a unique name that doesn't match a public package
Yeah but how do you explain a dozen+ kids all together, susceptible to group hallucinations to the extent of a being walking within arms length? That's a lot different than a dot in the corner of your eye or a group of witnesses mistaking something. Add in video interviews of the children by a Harvard psychologist, you get an incredibly compelling story that is very hard to come up with some simple answer
How does the Chinese government sue the us government for not having American rights? This literally makes no sense. How can do many people here not understand that Chinese created companies literally are owned and operated by their gov? How do you think the great firewall/mass gov censureship/social scores work?
Give someone an excel file and they are perfectly happy. Give them a web app to do the same process and suddenly their "needs" forces you to completely abstract all of the concepts to something entirely unrecognizable from the start.
It seems to me I see more and more a growing distance between how data is stored in a sql db and how the data is actually rendered or represented in the application.
I think a common problem is that often they become non-creative subjects when taught in school. Standardized tests frame them as a pursuit to find the same steps and answers as the mythical answer key, instead of a pursuit of exploring and building solutions to questions/problems.
Or he would have likely kept applying new technology. New technology is still being invented. There are just less steve jobs to actually apply it. I see it like the current movie industry. Lots of reboots and old franchises as they are "safe bets" for the share holders. No one wants to be the guy to make a huge flop and get fired.
Twitter had this some problem and went with the same solution of cutting out 3rd party apps. This is the age old piracy debate relived. People aren't using 3rd party apps because they want to skip ads, they are using them because they provide better functionality/user experience. Companies stupidly allow a 3rd party to take over all of their market share on mobile, and then make up complaints when they finally get around to making their own app.
Seems like it only looks for the 32bit FF binaries on windows so I can't run it sadly. Even tried copying over the 64 bit to the location, but I guess as expected got a reference pointer error.
Is it not computing to 16px for your screen? I feel like you must have problems on 99% of websites if 16px font does not render large enough for you to read. Heck, HackerNews renders at 10.6/12px for me.
He's talking about how each password should use a separate salt. This is normally stored next to the password hash. Many hashing algo implementations will even do this for you.
