Appreciate the feedback! From our data, kids don't request for hints unless they need it but it definitely makes sense to have some form of a gate. As for the website, that's an open problem. Was there a specific part that didn't make sense or was too ambiguous?

HOPE tracks student mastery across 80+ math subjects. As a student shows mastery on a subject, it unlocks more advanced topics of math.

Mastery is measured by how long it took a student to answer a question, the type of questions the student asked the AI, if they asked for hints/pictures, etc.
