Would be nice to have a tour to give your potential users an idea about what it actually is before requiring a signup.

This is awesome! Do you have any plans to continue working on this?
panzerboy··on JetBrains is working on a cross-platform C++ IDE
AppCode. It's what this new IDE is going to be based on.

I managed to order, got the email but swish.com/login doesn't load.

Also, what are the credentials? Wasn't asked for any password ...

panzerboy··on Why I loved building Basecamp for iPhone in RubyMotion
That's one of the reasons I like Xamarin's approach with MonoTouch. You can use it and target the Simulator for free, but if you want to run your app on the device, you need to pay for a license. Seems fair to me. I wish RubyMotion would offer this as well. I bet a lot of developers (myself included) would then try it out. But like purephase, I can't justify paying $200 just to try something out.

I'm using it as well since the 1.0 EAP. However, one thing I miss from Xcode (I can't believe I'm saying this) is the handling of breakpoints.

As per this article: http://www.cimgf.com/2012/12/13/xcode-lldb-tutorial/, in Xcode it's possible to change the values of variables on the fly, while debugging, using breakpoints. I don't think that's possible at the moment with AppCode (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Having said that, I'm 99% of my day in AppCode and I go to Xcode only for xib editing and this kind of advanced lldb debugging.

panzerboy··on How Not to write a "REST" API
Can you give an example of a nice REST API? I might have to create one soon and I need some inspiration.

Thanks!

panzerboy··on How Selling My Startup Led Me to Take a Vow of Middle Class Poverty
The dude is a hypocrite. What is he actually hoping to accomplish by doing this? Who is he going to help? Instead of this BS, he should either live his life an enjoy his money, or, if he's feeling guilty or something, he should consider donating some of his money or volunteering for something he believes in.
