Ie, cardholding need be blind to recruiters. Ie, insteadof <Do you have work authorization?> as the first question [no less], it need be enforceably ILLEGAL to try fish info on it.
In practice that can't be fully done without also blinding a lot of other things. but having Single Market enforced by law certainly will reduce the paygap found today in equal lvl-to-lvl comparisons (top x% vs top x%; differing only in cardholding).
re "vent" "disrespectful"; I contend that those folks actually trying to be assholes are Americans. It's likely the comparison you saw was just done in a neutral and nonhurtful manner/intention, albeit not of PC enculture.
Sure you pay both $x, but the skill diff can be 10x. USD16$250 can get you a bootcamp coder w zero exp (but w profile/status of citizen cardholder) [1], or someone way beyond 10x that skill who simply can't afford to negotiate.

(Assuming you are Forced to take one uni course; after which you are Forced to take no more)

re "martial arts"; btw which unis [2023-2035] sell martial art courses?
- But this must be balanced with other incentives, like upranking links that also display ads good for the bottom line. (And up/downranking stuff to maximize its "value" (eg data collection), at users' expense.)
- re "best software engineers in the world"; Firstly, Google (200k pax corp with national interests) has optimized itself to lowrisk recruiting, thus having a heavy "careerists" bias builtin by design ("best software engineer" is definitely nowhere near the top priority of its hiring rulebook). Which corresponds to a very low % of mentioned group. Also https://sockpuppet.org/blog/2015/03/06/the-hiring-post/
Obligatory venn diagram here: https://i.stack.imgur.com/GN2Rl.png.
( You'd think ppl such as Satoshi will pass the Google interviews? What about Linus and etc? )
( Not to mention plenty of weirdos (like Ciro on SO) would be banned from interviews regardless of skill level; and plenty of best engineers are weirdos )
- re "can/want"; Is the self-serving "homeless wants to be homeless doh" feelgood from the fiction or nonfiction bookshelf? To state the obvious fact: all homeless want (loans for) housing. All. And not a single one can.
- (re "also"; no the text's complete)

[1] ain't even laughing; and here comes (equally half-thought and vague) another "can"
[2] Everyone else is secretly hoping you don't make it for there's no money in it; and if godforbid you made it pls die Asap without hogging the ambulance and whatnot, just because we didn't give you loans doesn't mean that the senior housing is free.
Also, it seems like IA's purpose is different.
Tldr: money makes the world go round / no man is in a well.
¶ I believe Applied Cryptography can be accessed for free if you can't afford it.
The issue here is that it's not a tossup. The probability is >=2:1 hence the liability, even if that is alive after the plunge.
- How big's the team? Who's putting in money?
- What's the burn rate? Default alive? (Using words like "we believe" sure does make it appear so, at least as far as a lifespan which is definitely doable.)
- Why are the people who are supposed to be paying paying?
- Who are you building the app for? For science/arts or for users?
- Who are you building the app for? Individuals? Teens? Adults? Retirees? The 1%? The 99%? Most adults don't have a fanbase and thus will not have free waking hours to CurateBio in the hopes that people will fund them to do just that. (Untldr: Growth is exponential thus population quickly expands to fill land prices which expand to fill simple lifestyles and waking hours. Even in a land with price caps or ownership banned, pop eventually expands to fill construction prices which again expand to fill simple lifestyles and waking hours. (Construction stops where adding another storey due to gravity, requires more men than there is literally available.) Until ownership is banned not just for land but also for Tech can there be such things as free waking hours for the people.) Folks don't do self-curation on facebook/Flickr/Linktree/Authory expecting to be paid just by doing that.
- re "another idea", Elaborate?
- re "profit faster", What's the purpose of the funds?
Without a gauge I can't see anyone giving proper advice as techniques change with budget.
Imagine if your ISP blocks the front page of The Post yet you are still allowed to talk to me. Well, I can simply read the information to you over the phone under a plausibly deniable "eg even number of words in a sentence =1" algorithm.
