Ask HN: Looking for a touchkeyboard

Is there a zero-sound / non-mechanical keyboard? (Like a tablet, but a keyboard; no "teamviewers" crap required for the receiving device.)

Try searching for "capacitive keyboard" perhaps? Such devices do seem to exist for medical and industrial use but are rather expensive.

There were those laser projection keyboards a while ago.

holyfk!

lol, definitely not the reaction I expected!

Personally, I thought it'd be uncomfortable typing on a tabletop with no tactile feedback, but I admit the idea sounds cool :) If you get one, will you please report back and let us know how it is?

As HN has an odd 14-day limit for threads, where should I write?

You can start a new "show HN" post and talk about it (only if you'd like!) No pressure, it's not a big deal either way, just thought it'd be interesting to share :)

Isn't show-hn for product demos not reviews?
