p0w3n3d··on I think you should almost never use AI to write
I totally agree! I think AI could be used as a discussion partner or a proofreader. Otherwise it tends to extrapolate (unnecessarily enlarge) parts that are of low value and omit or not stress enough parts that are of most importance. It does not understand or know what's inside my brain and won't take it out from there by itself. It has problems with human thinking in terms of easiness (when trying to explain something for example) etc

-- EDIT --

The thing I am mostly scared of is that people who create decisions will start writing them with AI and world will stop making sense in 3... 2... 1...

Can you advise?
p0w3n3d··on XCancel service is suspended until further notice
I don't want to sound like a geezer but backdays twitter was a web page, like hacker news. Now it's an app, that wouldn't work as a page in phone's browser. And installing an app is basically installing a spy nowadays
p0w3n3d··on AirPods 5
Tbh every phone in my home is reused so I never have a spare charger left from the previous device. I either give it to kids or use it as a router
p0w3n3d··on The Helicopter with Radioactive Blades

Safe for humans as long as they do not breathe it.
We're flying. In the air, and there is a rotating strontium spreader above us. How we're not going to breathe it in?
p0w3n3d··on AirPods 5
We won't sell you phone with the charger because of... Reasons... I mean...

I have fond memories of the first VMWare "BIOS" running inside my windows, this was so magical.

It's sad to watch these things slowly perish

Now suddenly we're okay with another company installing another browser in their OS

p0w3n3d··on GUIs should be fully keyboard-driven
GUIs used to be fully keyboard driven. At least old windows. You could do everything, and those things that were broken (no tab order etc) were accessible by numeric keypad's steered mouse (accessibility settings)

Sadly many managers decided to do so and the damage is done

Some managers didn't pass the Turing test
p0w3n3d··on It’s so hard to finish an idea that is not yours and is just suggested by AI
In numerical methods this is called error propagation. And since the neural networks are basically numerical approximations of a certain function, this shows apparent similarity of the propagation on a macro scale
