Simply put, with microservices and all the typical contemporary complexity you can't deliver a shit in 5 months.
The limits of physics can be surpassed with parallelization.
Moore's law is a reflection of the private and business market's desire/need for ever greater efficiency.
There is no limit.
Meec. Not yours.
Wrong Mindset. The best is yet to come.
Fuck this bullshit.
So, this debate is absolutely ridiculous and stupid.
And this shit represents the pinnacle of a generation so fragile and incompetent that it will lead to "worse times".
You can go on with your GraphQL, Kubernetes, gigantic frameworks, and pages with 3MB of JS if you want.
And let's see what stands the test of time.
I saw it coming for miles and evaded it.
Your complexity is my competitive advantage. Please continue to be followers of any new shit.
I can respond up to 20k requests per second.
Scaling is for worldwide TOP 250 webs or webs designed according to the stupid contemporary fashions.
1. Dethroning sysadmins introducing devops in the middle ("devs" capable of deploying in the cloud but unable to control the OS).
2. Increase CPU and other resource consumption (promoting heavy frameworks, unable to pass the Doherty threshold in 2022).
For clouds, increasing complexity and costs almost always expands the business.
I'm still doing my projects with LAMP technology. With my own framework with a 150 lines kernel, routed with FS, looking for the maximum simplicity as principle number one.
Postmodern web development lost the Doherty threshold.
I measure my page load in tenths of a millisecond. Average page generated in 1-9 milliseconds, including the tipical 2-6 simple SQL local queries.
Your complexity is my competitive advantage.
