oxapentane··on Leaked screenshot shows Amazon now tracking individual employee attendance
After four years of filling out attendance sheets with hours per every day worked (this is in Germany btw) with monthly reminder from the manager about it I beg to differ. Even though the job (academic research) doesn't have a strong correlation between output and hours spent on site

Guess folk in Germany finds it way more reasonable if this surveillance is carried out by a flesh-and-blood manager? :) I don't really see how it changes anything of substance, except of being formally non-compliant.

Some time ago I used to run a userscript which replaced all occurrences of "Artificial Intelligence" and "AI" with "Artificial Idiocy". Added some charm to buzzword-heavy press releases :D.

Quick google led me to RFC4252[0], section 8 of which (as far as I understood) describes ssh auth sending password as UTF8 plaintext string (and the whole packet is encrypted at transport layer). While passwords in /etc/shadow are hashed, if someone got access to your server he can just put malicious listener that will catch this UTF8 string.

I'm not a SSH guru, so if I'm mistaken please shout at me ;D

Sorry to barge in into the thread, but regarding the isotopes with current pop-out style: As a person who lately started collaborating with NMR people I think it will be nice if one can filter them by half-life/abundance (e.g. to filter out anything that has natural abundance of 0 or below x), and then look at magnetic/quadrupole moment to see if resonance people can measure it).

But anyways, thanks for all the work you've done! I've been using it daily for the past 10-11 years, it is a great resource :D

The folks behind the project did a lot of posts on design/development for the past year. Unfortunately mostly in Russian.

Here's reddit post in english from a while back: https://www.reddit.com/r/TechNewsToday/comments/g4vkqf/flipp...

And here's pre-kickstarter post in russian, that kinda sums up everything that was posted before: https://habr.com/ru/post/513074/

Edit: and even here: https://news.ycombinator.com/from?site=flipperzero.one
