Putting the panels in a less visible area is a smart move to avoid conflict with the neighbors. In places with a lot of land like west USA it probably does not matter so much.
When I was working on my tool for off grid pv hot water (www.pvh2o.com), I was was able to get insolation data for USA from NREL NSRDB. They claim they have data for the whole planet in the DB but I find many spots outside USA do not seem to work.
Where did you get insolation data for Europe?
I feel like 1,3,9,27,81 could be an optimal set; but I am not sure how to prove it.
When I plug data for LA into the simulator I get a payback of 1.4 years.

You can DIY a 2kW solar system and store 10kWh of heat in your water heater. No grid connection required.
Permethrin is great stuff, the mosquito lands on permethrin treated cloth, the mosquito falls down dead. It is something to see. You can treat your clothes with it and spray it on your walls and ceilings.
This makes the 6.2 MWh battery equivalent to about 300 gallons of diesel.
If you plug in this battery to charge at 1MW, it will take about 360 min to charge, so a 1 MW charging station is equivalent to a gas pump that pumps about one gallon per minute.
I do not think they are using the blue plugs shown in the picture for charging the battery. Those look like 480V 150A plugs to me, and those can only supply 0.077 MW. It is more likely those blue plugs are for "Shore Power" used while in port for stuff like like air conditioning, computers, cooking.
To charge something this big overnight you would want a more exotic type of plug, something like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megawatt_Charging_System
Ocean fertilization could 10x the number of fish, and possibly store some carbon also.
At least one crash has been caused by the seat rails becoming so worn that the seat slid back during takeoff and the pilot could no longer reach the controls.
The same thing can happen in old cars.
The gravitational energy of the logs can be stored and used to power the empty truck back up the hill for the next load.
For a general use pickup, you have to make do with capturing braking energy during stop and go traffic. Not quite as juicy of a use case.
Speak however you wish with your friends, they said, but use Standardized American English for the job interview. Apparently this goes double for LLMs.
They even made us write the same paper twice. Once in standard English and again in AEE, so the kids would know the difference.
When you are flying a quad with a lot of power, it is fun to zoom up vertically, cut the throttle, and drop.
Normally, the motors have enough power to arrest the fall before you hit the ground but if you get into VRS no amount of power will save you.
If you realize you are in VRS before it is too late, apply forward thrust and fly out of it.
The former resulted in yelling and crying. The latter got us to the gym, so I found "Obese" to be a useful word.

It has a mini-vacuum chamber on the welding head so you can e-beam weld large workpieces without needing a large vacuum chamber.
The "Elimination Communication" thing is awesome if you can get it working. One baby it worked 90% and the other about 60%.
When baby gets to about 3 try "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons", it is not easy but it is simple and it works.
I was worried the bedrooms would get too cold when the doors were closed but it turned out not to be an issue. The bedrooms do get colder but this actually is better for sleeping.
We still have the forced air system as a backup.
