onesingleblast··on Domain expertise has always been the real moat
I mean if you ask the AI to make something to manage the inventory in a warehouse without any detail about how the warehouses operate then you're going to get a worse result than a domain expert talking to the AI.

The problem is that more and more people are getting convinced by the AI's that they're domain experts when they're really not.

onesingleblast··on Java Card
I got one of these recently. I paid about $30 for it since they don't like to sell them to individual consumers. It's one of the newer dual-interface JCOP 4 cards, so it also supports ints, which most cards don't. You program them with a standard PC card reader, which I have.

onesingleblast··on Stack Overflow’s forum is dead but the company’s still kicking
Once I looked up how to add placeholder text on a textbox with Swing and someone on Stack Overflow said to add a random JAR file into my project but the DuckDuckGo AI gave me the correct answer. So good riddance I guess.

onesingleblast··on The user is visibly frustrated
Claude Code actually has regexes that detect when the user is frustrated. You can see it from the leak.
onesingleblast··on Dropbox CEO Drew Houston to step down
Your Python client eats all my CPU. My CPU usage goes down from 75% to 5% when I close it.
