That's not right, $2,049,318,880.00 ~ 13,192,490,290.00 SEK
I'm not religious about platform choice, but I'd hate to see a future where developers are pidgeonholed with regards to their tools
Edit: currently 13 of 15 of our devs use Mac
I was of course very polite, I didn't want to burn any bridges and could still consider going back there some day, but I also was honest when telling them that main reason (that was in their control) for me quitting was that there was no development process (i.e. scrum) and the first thing on their to-do list should be to hire a good head of development.
They did this a year after I left and from what I've heard they have kept the rest of my team and even attracted some new talent. Maybe there are cultural factors at play as well (I'm in Stockholm).
They invited me back later for beers and starcraft 2, so I guess they don't hate me too much :)

Our current teams are named: "Team America 2", "Kill Kenny" and "Etablissemanget" ("The Establishment" in swedish)

I never realized how much of the reddit content was internet memes :)
You get the exact same window placement stuff by activating the Put compiz plugin (which is more customizable than unity).
Yes, gnome-do worked in unity in 11.10 once you disable the launcher bar shortcut.
I guess my point is that unity made everything much more sluggish and introduced crashes/buggy behaviour without really adding anything for a power user who doesn't use the mouse.
My old gnome2 desktop was set up so that I almost never had to use the mouse. I used gnome-do for application launching (excellent software!) and various compiz plugins for window placement with the keyboard (dual monitor setup).
I gave unity a try when I upgraded to 11.04, but it felt so "unfinished" back then that I figured it would take at least a year for me to give it any serious consideration. And it lacked all the configuration required to get to a mouseless setup. And it still does.
Oh, and it made X really sluggish and I've had at least one compiz crash every day since I upgraded (the ui crashes and reloads, putting all windows in the top left workspace).
Gnome-DO is the main reason I'm staying with "ubuntu classic".
We're hiring people to R&D and professional services to our development office in Stockholm. You'd be working on our web CMS system that's used by a bunch of huge newspapers all around the world. Main programming language is Java, but there is a lot of javascript in the mix as well. Objective-C would also be a plus.
Need to speak swedish for the Stockholm positions. I think they are hiring in other parts of the world as well.
