The source is a single HTML file that also contains the JS. Just view source and modify if you're interested in taking this further. What's cool is that the protocol allows you to receive readings from the train and not just send commands. Also, it allows you to drive the train faster than you can via the official mobile app.

You can definitely get by with just English here and have been for a while. In fact, when I first lived in Helsinki in 2000 you had to speak Finnish in some restaurants since the staff didn't speak English, whereas now it's the other way around.
There are however problems with English language primary education: while there are enough English language daycares, there's a shortage of (free) places in English language schools. Hopefully that's something that will be addressed soon, though.

I personally liked the portrait of the last tsar the most: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Nicolas_II_of_Russia...
It got me thinking that things could have turned out very different for Russia had his personality been different.

PPS. I met my co-founder here on HN back in the day, so we'll consider those applying as a result of this post as a matter of priority
A guy walks into a bar and sees a group of people. One of them says a number and the rest laugh. Then the next person says a number and everyone laughs again.
"What are you doing?" he asks them.
"We're telling each other jokes, but since we keep telling the same ones, we've assigned each a number and rather than telling the whole joke all over again, we can just reference it quickly that way"
"Can I try?"
"Sure, go ahead"
"42", the guy says.
Everyone starts laughing and laughing and won't stop.
"What did I say?"
"Well you see, the joke you told us was:
A guy walks into a bar and sees a group of people. One of them says a number and the rest laugh... etc. etc."
---
In the original joke the last answer was simply "We hadn't heard that one before", but I'd like to think my recursive version has more depth to it.
