Can you please provide a source for the claim of release of IRS taxpayer confidential data?
You would think that the counties could get together and work out an MoU.

I'm thinking of a situation in which an application assumes that different (possibly adversarial) user-provided data will always generate a different ETag.

Note that it say "Fedora 41" in the CISA page link to Red Hat, but Red Hat changed the blog title to "Fedora 40" and left the HTML page title as "Fedora 41".
Edit: The Red Hat blog currently says "At this time the Fedora Linux 40 builds have not been shown to be compromised." and "Fedora Linux 40 users may have received version 5.6.0, depending on the timing of system updates." which seems to be a contradiction. Any build of xz 5.6.0 or 5.6.1 should be considered compromised.
"Thunderbird is a project of MZLA Technologies Corporation, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mozilla Foundation." and
"Gifts to Thunderbird are not tax-deductible as charitable gifts, but are greatly appreciated."
... so I guess Thunderbird is part of a for-profit corporation owned by a non-profit? Why would Mozilla pick this kind of corporate structure?

Editorialized headline ("Californians now able") is false, not available for another two years.
Solar power is not cheaper than combined-cycle natural gas at midnight. The article that you cited does not contain the words "battery" or "storage", and one really needs to compare the all-in levelized cost of energy (and storage) over the life of the project. It does mention hydrogen, but does not go into the efficiency calculations.
