adb pm uninstall is pretty strong on stock unrooted Android

This functionality can ONLY be accessed via ADB. It is DIFFERENT from "hiding."

You can break lots of stuff, even Google spyware (Play framework), which is the evidence I need that adb pm uninstall actually works to disable prepackaged manufacturer malware!

Don't wait - try it today: https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater

EUers mostly eat Tomatoes grown within a few hundred miles of EU borders. Not from America.

Morocco is the leading supplier to the EU, accounting for 70% of the EU's total imports, followed by Turkey.

nszceta··on Features I'd Like in PostgreSQL
It sounds like GP encountered UUID Version 4 keys.

UUID version 7 features a time-ordered value field derived from the widely implemented and well known Unix Epoch timestamp source, the number of milliseconds seconds since midnight 1 Jan 1970 UTC, leap seconds excluded. As well as improved entropy characteristics over versions 1 or 6.

If your use case requires greater granularity than UUID vesion 7 can provide, you might consider UUID version 8. UUID version 8 doesn't provide as good entropy characteristics as UUID version 7, but it utilizes timestamp with nanosecond level of precision.

It's an Android app. Its easier to manage OTP codes inside your password manager. Do everything with KeepassXC and KeepassDX. How to sync a file between computers and your phone is left as an exercise to the reader. However I recommend using Syncthing.

Central Europeans eat a lot of meat and somehow they manage to keep prices under control without slamming animals with antibiotics prophylactically. Land and regulatory compliance costs are much higher than in the US too.

It is obvious that many consumer facing online applications have gotten into hot water regularly for social justice issues in the past decade.

There are at least two answers to that question:

1. Knowing things lets you know more things faster and they stick: associative memories are very durable because they are mostly groups of references to existing objects in memory. Much less novel information that needs to be encoded. Repetition and memorization matters.

2. Look up latency: Same problem as computer cache misses and L1 vs RAM lookup times. You will take 100x longer to achieve the same result by looking up reference material all the time. Also important questions typically have answers from many different problem domains (social, scientific, philosophical, ethical) and its important to have a lot of knowledge memorized to see a solution to a novel problem holistically.

Almost certainly negatively. Why learn or put in effort into written text prompts when examiners can be easily fooled with machine generated prose? Those that lack discipline, self-control, and have no desire to learn will eliminate themselves.

The primary route of elimination of PFAAs is through the kidney in the urine (Han et al., 2008). Other important clearance pathways include menstruation (Harada et al., 2005; Taylor et al., 2014; Park et al., 2019; Ding et al., 2020), pregnancy (Monroy et al., 2008) and lactation (Bjermo et al., 2013). Sex hormones have been identified as a major factor in determining the renal clearance of PFAAs. One study examined the role of sex hormones and transport proteins on renal clearance and observed that, in ovariectomised female rats, oestradiol could facilitate the transport of PFAAs across the membranes of kidney tubules into the glomerular filtrate, resulting in lower serum concentrations (Kudo et al., 2002).

nszceta··on EU adopts global minimum 15% tax on big business
I'm struggling to understand why avoiding an EIN ever helps avoid taxation. It doesn't seem to be a relevant matter.

1. As a non resident alien, you are subject to US tax on business income if you are “engaged in a trade or business in the United States“, short “ETBUS”.

2. You are ETBUS only if two things are true: (i) You have at least one “dependent agent” in the US. Dependent agents are employees or companies that work almost exclusively for you. And (ii) that dependent agent does something substantial to further your business in the US. Purely administrative jobs are not included under this rule.

3. Finally, if you can benefit from an applicable tax treaty, then you’re only subject to US tax if (in addition to being ETBUS) you operate in the US through a “permanent establishment” (e.g. an office or other fixed place of business). If you don’t meet those conditions, you are not (automatically) subject to US tax on your business.

Even if the LLC generates income in the US, by offering services or selling products into the US, that income is not taxed in the US.

One does not simply avoid paying taxes with an LLC unless your gross income is minute, tax deductible expenses are huge, or your losses are huge. IT IS NOT SOME MAGICAL LOOPHOLE. It is hard enough to stay afloat as a business without misinformation like this being spread.

nszceta··on Data-driven performance optimization with Rust and Miri
Similarly, py-spy is a sampling profiler for Python programs. It lets you visualize what your Python program is spending time on without restarting the program or modifying the code in any way. py-spy is extremely low overhead: it is written in Rust for speed and doesn't run in the same process as the profiled Python program. This means py-spy is safe to use against production Python code.

I'm not sure if it exports results in a format Chrome can render but it does produce great interactive SVGs and is compatible with speedscope.app
