VALIDATION! https://status.aws.amazon.com/

I noticed this outage coincided with elevated timeouts in one of our EC2 us-east-1 availability zones.

We had recovery by removing that zone from our Auto Scaling Groups, but I haven't been able to find many others affected online (other than Reddit).

Did anyone else experience something like this?

edit: Our errors started at 13:35 Pacific Time.

I like the reason "This doesn't add to the conversation."

Agreed here. Then, at that time, there should be a re-evaluation.

Perhaps also at that time openRC will be a potential candidate and far less experimental.
