Z80 is (still) an 8-bit CPU with 16-bit addressing. It cannot access more than 64kiB at a time. The hardware and the software needed to overcome that limit was worth more than an 8088/8086 (or compatible CPU) with MS-DOS and Telix.
In 1993,the age of 80286 and 80386, 8088/8086 were considered low-low-end CPUs, let alone the Z80, even in Mexico.
Not pointing my finger, just stating some facts.
Would you keep your food or car in someone else's garage?
I have seen too many parents (i am a teacher) lacking basic mathematical and geometrical understanding.
Let alone, statistics.
Schooling is broken, society is rotting, culture is dead.
I am not sure why they do that, but when I see a DevOps engineer doing it I have a chilling feel.
I bought 16TB disk because I needed that much storage.
If I were using, say, only 10TB, I would be wasting 6TB.
I can expand my LVM as much as I can. But I definitely want my disk to be full. Same goes for my RAM.
And I want my CPU ide time to stay as close as possible to 0% and my load average as close as possible to my no. of CPUs.
Anything else would mean oversizing and overspending.
Ah, yes. Microsoft's!
It means the fix was applied to run during the emulation loop execution, not that the fix was found and applied while the emulation loop was running.
Which would have made it an emulation code escape.
More modern doesn't mean any better or more powerful.
I for one hate this need for going "more modern" without having clear and factual advantages.
I remember I was not allowed to use a laptop with a CD or DVD attached.
Now you have internet on board.
Using docker for such a task seems to me overly over-engineered. Or maybe I need more context there.
Interesting portable scripting thingy. But it would only work with portable tools, not just everything. Especially with Windows tools.
