Allegedly, the only sure-fire way of knowing if you are on Focus/Dev list is if you ask your manager point-blank about it and they have to respond with the truth.

Either you haven't been part of the panel in a while or you haven't worked for Amazon. BR's responsibility is not to make the sole decision but help the panel achieve consensus. This is very clear in the interview training.
Having been part of debriefs, this is not correct. Bar Raiser is there to help the panel make a decision, not be the sole decision maker.
It's - WSB can remain retarded longer than you can remain solvent.
20 USD / hour * 8 h/day * 21 days/month * 12 months = ~ 40,000 USD / year.
Of course, experienced ones don't receive that might higher salary either. About 5 years of experience would probably get you around double to triple the starting salary.
But is that really true? There are plenty of companies who take a Fire Better approach (Amazon, Netflix to name a few) who seem to be doing just fine.
Note that I'm not just talking about US. Most countries in Europe have the Labour Market tests requirement before a foreigner can be sponsored for the position.

And more such videos at PBS SpaceTime. A fair warning though that that is a rabbit hole and likely to consume a lot of your hours/days to get through.
Be careful of anyone claiming to be an expert on anything, especially on an anonymous forum - even if that forum has in general higher quality opinion.
And the OP does not mention Vitamin K2 at all. How does anybody who claims to have done a Masters on Vitamin D not mention K2?
Because, in the "Visibility" link in the profile builder says: Your public profile will be invisible and will not appear in public search engines. This simplified version of your Triplebyte profile showcases your technical achievements based on actual skills, not pedigree (it does not contain your score details, job status, or preferences). Turn your visibility “ON” in order to share your unique Triplebyte profile URL on job applications, LinkedIn, GitHub, and other platforms.
However, "Learn More" says the URL will be inaccessible when not Public. So, which is it?
I hope Google understands the slippery slope they are treading and its implications and consequences.
My resume was definitely good enough to be pass the HR screening at Google/Amazon/Microsoft (as they did get selected locally), and yet the ones that I heard back from and agreed to give me a phone screen numbered in single digits (about 8 - Uber, Stripe and a few more). I was also in the high-skilled category and wouldn't have a problem getting the respective visas. And I did not clear for even 1 onsite. It's just that the competition is just greater these days.
Remote: Maybe, depends on the work profile.
Willing to relocate: Yes to Europe. Will consider US.
Technologies: Embedded systems (mostly C, some C++), Cloud Backend Microservices (mostly Go, some Java Spring Boot), Security protocols - IPSEC, TLS and VPN in general. Experience with standard cloud tech - Kubernetes, Docker, Redis/Hazelcast, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Cassandra etc.
Resume/CV: Can email on request. Gist of it - About 7 years of experience with a Product Company in Fortune 100, working on Embedded Systems as well as Cloud Backend in a Microservices architecture. Most recently, built multiple backend microservices at scale and looking for Cloud backend roles - preferably in Go/Java but open to learning others.
Had phone screen with Google (was the absolute first interview scheduled after many years, did not go as well as I'd hope for). Since then, had onsite with Twitter (waiting for result) and onsite scheduled with Microsoft, Amazon and a couple of others.
Also, the absolute requirement that any of your workings should be done only on the shared Google doc seems like an overkill. There are a lot of times when I wanted to quickly note down / draw something on the notebook I had but couldn't.
What makes you say this?
