nonoesp··on Adam Menges – Lobe: Machine Learning Made Simple
For the last episode of Getting Simple, I had the chance to talk to Microsoft's Adam Menges, former employee at Apple and founder at Lobe.ai, a company that helps people build intelligence into their apps by making it simple and understandable.

Tune in to discover Adam's unconventional education and career, the beginnings of Lobe, why he strives to have death present in his day-to-day, and his life hacks and daily routines, including custom-made clothing, note-taking and file-management workflows, meditation, and much more.

nonoesp··on Quantity or Quality: Generating lots of ideas might help you achieve originality
Hi, Paul.

Thanks for your comment!

"Ideas" serves as a generic term for stories and writing, sketching and drawing, projects, or virtually any type of work output.

It's through actual doing and practice that you get better. (And specifically if you're working on the areas that are hard and you need improvement. It's not enough to continue doing what you already know how to do, over and over.)

The executing part, as you mention, is key. It's not just about thinking what you could do but about doing and practicing.

Wow, this is such a good recommendation. And they're already in booklet PDF format — ready for printing. Huge thanks Lev, I'll definitely print some of these. Feel like I've got a lot to learn from what's on them (e.g., https://jvns.ca/strace-zine-v3-print.pdf).

Hey, this unsolicited feedback is great — so much that I already implemented an arrow to signal there's content, can be clicked, and disappears as soon as you scroll down.

Thanks a lot for this comment, really.

Haha! Took a look at some of these and I love it. Thanks for sharing have been thinking of offering some format in which people can directly print the content themselves.

nonoesp··on Amazon is making us lazy
Ever seen this box? https://sketch.nono.ma/img/u/sketch-190718-malaga-panaderos-...

Amazon is making us lazy. Set a default delivery address and credit card on file, and you can place an order with one click.

With more than 600,000 employees, Amazon has crafted an online experience so convenient as to become the standard method to buy virtually anything for many people all over the world.

You might receive your package faster than they initially said, and returning what you bought has never been easier.

Without shipping costs, the thrill of going to the store to buy the things you love rapidly fades away, replaced by a virtual, addictive shopping experience while wearing your best pajamas.

Ding. The bell rings. You've got an Amazon package.
