Perhaps you're already doing this, but if not, I'd highly suggest you find someone to speak to long-term, and also find someone to help you manage these feelings with medication. It does make a difference.

Join a nearby Toastmasters club. It'll give you tons of practice in speaking, and you'll quickly see how it affects your speech, not just in speaking contexts, but in any context where you have to speak to, communicate with, or lead people.

I believe that rails is untouchable as far is it comes to the ecosystem of gems and getting something quickly built and online, however I’m now moving all future apps to Django/ flask in python to take more advantage of the serverless ecosystem, and all of the data processing libraries out there. I’ll miss you Ruby

Depends on how you’re writing. You could send everything to a kinesis or firehouse stream and use that to batch inputs, or you could write to an Elastic File System and batch there with a scheduled function
