Those jobs that only require you to wear a suit don't care what the degree is in.
Now if your future job only depends on your grade - not the subject which would you choose? Studying maths/physics/etc for 4years or doing psychology/media studies/american studies.
You have to give them a chance, they only just got democracy - it takes a while to build up a military-industrial complex.
Obviously an increase in PhD programs in french-fry frying would raise incomes even further.
The traditional option was to fight a competent enemy - but then your own people get shot down which doesn't play well with the electorate.
A modern solution is to sell your weapons to an ally, then destroy them and then sell more of the same replacement items to the replacement government. The big advantage of that is that the replacement government is normally pretty well disposed to you - if they know whats good for them.
Or the same Qaddafi that provided the `special questioning` facilities when the British secret service sent the current democratic leader there to be interrogated about terrorist links.
What happened in Vancouver when Canada did the same thing is that people bought the houses as an insurance so they had an escape route if Honk Kong went bad. Most of the houses either sat empty, were rented out, or the kid was dumped there to go to college.

You just need minimum wage guy at the airport desk to not like your face and you don't get in - no matter how many VISAs you have in your passport. You can of course try and correct the problem from the other country after you have been denied entry - if you can get an airline to carry you.
You also need either a lot of storage locally or a fast data link between the base station and the rover - phones actually have both of these but they cost money

In this libel case publishing the article was the offence. So 'if' making a link was also publishing, then an article that only linked to the original that was a new offence.
It doesn't mean that you can put up a message saying "riot at the mall tonight" and then tweet a link to that claiming "you only sent a link" - it's still inciting a riot!
In other words making a link doesn't suddenly protect you from what was in linked to message - it just means that it isn't a new publication of the same message.
In practice it has big implications for both Google (who don't have to police the entire internet!) and for libel tourism - you can no longer pick a convenient jurisdiction to sue in based on somebody there only publishing a link
The ruling said that publishing a hyperlink wasn't the same as re-publishing the original article.
Making a torrent file available is providing a way to download the copyright offending file - that's a totally different charge.
Whether the ASIC implementation works and whether the iPhone API actually uses it - is another matter
