You can either create local link to a read-only version of what you're looking at right now. Whoever wants to access it, must be able to access the grafana host. Alternatively, you can upload the snapshot to the raintank site. I have just exported a snapshot of a panel on one of our dashboards, with only one of the panels' data, see https://snapshot.raintank.io/dashboard/snapshot/II7NYMU3v9vT... for an example. You can zoom in, but not further out.
You can also generate an iframe embed code (for a single panel), but if you want to share that in real-time publicly, you'd need to expose grafana to the public internet.
You can embed from a shared snapshot at raintank, as well. See the one above, if you click the title, you can 'Share' that and then embed it.

The job description is pretty much on point - we're a small team of 4 engineers (one of whom is me). We build the API for iPlayer (the video one, not the radio one), which is used by the Mobile Apps, TV Apps, Website and syndication partners such as Sky & Virgin - last week we counted 1.1 billion requests! We're also looking after the Apple TV app (TVML), some open source programs, and a number of internal tools for our editorial staff.
At the moment we're extending our personalisation capabilities, with some audience research, an architecture revamp, and exciting ML projects and would love someone to help us build the best VoD & live content platform to come out of the UK.
There are technical reasons to consider, as well (yes, it's DNS again). If you want to receive emails @foo.com, you have to set MX records for foo.com., and that means you can't set a CNAME anymore - you'll have to make do with A/AAAA records.
For a lot of applications this is not an issue, but it does mean an overhead for highly distributed services. You won't see many global/high traffic companies drop the benefits 'www' gives. This is not purely to get the 'old folks' market.
(PS: The subdomain doesn't have to be www., of course - cnn goes with edition.cnn.com., for example.)
We do add a 'requiresTvLicence': true to non-partner programmes (i.e. BBC programmes which are funded by the licence fee), but the clients are responsible for making sure the user has confirmed that they "have a TV Licence" before playing.
Most of us WFH 1-3 days a fortnight, but I doubt there's much more scope. Would have to be discussed with the engineering manager.

PS: Because I'm not a fan of how we advertise salaries, I'm going to point out this FOI request which shows last year's salary bands for "G9". It's gone up a bit since: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/360583/response/87566...
Also notable is that async/await isn't new for node, 7.10 supported it (and previous versions with a flag). It's new for a LTS release. What is new, however, is the in-built util.promisify that can convert callbacks into native promises.
In short: At 00:00 hours on 19/07 (i.e. July 19) execute that command. The * means 'regardless of what day of the week it is'.
I believe we own our TLD as well, but don't use it, yet - it's for brand protection. If you have a look at my comment history and deduce my employer, you might understand why with our name...
On German keyboards it's even 'worse' though. Because ;, [ and ] are used for ä, ö and ü, [ and ] are Strg + ⇧ + 8 and Strg + ⇧ + 9. Same for { and }.
(Strg = Ctrl)
So any keyboard shortcut involving those and ⇧ or Ctrl is pretty much impossible.

Oh I wish. Oh I wish..
We're looking for a development lead for the iPlayer Business Layer - the team behind the iPlayer API serving the website, mobile clients and devices. Our tech stack is mostly Node.js with Postgres and Redis databases on AWS in microservices.
We're now averaging over 100 million API requests every day, with an average 2,000 req/s and a <7ms response time (that's for the past 7 days from now). Some exciting projects we're working on include a machine learning one and a big priority for the year ahead is personalisation. Our open source projects currently see 40k downloads/month and we're keen to expand that.
It's a small team (2 senior engineers, 2 engineers (<- one of them is me!) and usually a graduate), and we're based in White City.
Spec & Application: https://careershub.bbc.co.uk/members/modules/job/detail.php?...
Also open source does not necessarily mean non profit.
Or a I reading the current status of the RFC[1] wrong? If so, cool! Would love to have something more standardised than just a 1:1 mapping from rethinkdb or thinky calls over websockets/socket.io.
