I'm a software architect and built OneArch https://theone.archi/ to solve a problem I’ve faced for years: keeping architecture decisions (ADRs), requirements, and diagrams in sync across tools like Confluence, Notion, and Miro.

OneArch is an AI-assisted architecture workspace where you: - Extract Functional + Non-Functional Requirements from vague business input - Capture ADRs with AI help and context-aware editing - Design diagrams directly inside the app with Excalidraw - Export everything to Word, HTML, or Confluence for easy sharing

It’s built to replace the “dozens of tabs open” workflow with a single place designed for real architecture work. I’d love your feedback — especially if you’ve struggled with architecture documentation or onboarding junior architects.

nick-laptev··on I watched Gemini CLI hallucinate and delete my files
Lol. I experience this often with Google AI. It uses Git for tracking sources. Fun thing - revert of Git commits is not enough. Google AI tries to revert reverted commits thinking it knows better even if I ask not to do it explicitly. I say Google AI and not Gemini, because Google has some additions over Gemini in Firebase Studio prototyper, that is much more powerful for coding than Gemini. The thing I enjoy in Gemini - it often replies "I don't know how to do it, do it yourself" :-D
nick-laptev··on Show HN: E2EE Messaging with a Decentralized Microfrontend Architecture
Lots of water. You have centralised frontend architecture with S3 serving frontend resources. Only messaging looks decentralized but it barely covered in the article.
nick-laptev··on Java is still worth learning
Enterprises will be on Java and .Net for decades. If you plan to work there, then Java is a way to go.

Please note that Java is not human friendly. You can learn it for years and still shoot your leg easily.
