ngaut··on Reducing Online Serving Latency from 1.11s to 123.6ms
Totally agree.Database with both row and column storage engine could help a lot.T hat's the reason OSSInsight like workload can run on top of TiDB easily, whether scan the whole table or scan part of the index.
ngaut··on Reducing Online Serving Latency from 1.11s to 123.6ms
Keeping low latency for an online data service with more than 5 billion records can be a challenge. Features like query the database with natural language(https://ossinsight.io/explore).This makes it easier for users to access the data without having to know SQL. But the generate SQL could be pretty heavy(many Full table scan and index scan).
ngaut··on English is the New SQL. SQL is going to be an intermediate language
Answers from AI could be wrong sometimes(close to 20%). The better database schema and purpose provide for AI, the better results you can get. This can help the AI better understand what you are asking it to do and improve the accuracy.
ngaut··on English is the New SQL. SQL is going to be an intermediate language
It works pretty well. AI can generated SQL with Common table expressions, window functions, and many kinds of joins.
ngaut··on GitHub Statistics
That's super cool. I can quickly and easily use natural language to do query. Which AI model is being used?

This is so cool. Now we are able to run operating system in the browser, and we are able to run database in the browser(https://pingcap.com/blog/how-we-compiled-a-golang-database-i...). So what's next?

Using 4 threads it is simple to get 2x the performances of single-threaded Redis (even if yet the reading part is not threaded).
