Intuitive code, which tell itself what is supposed to do. When someone saw the code, they should be able to know what is happening. Another thing which will make me happy is to defines clear interfaces which can be extensible for any future change.

Recently i started contributing to open source projects, I came across a guy who had Java conventions all over the source code for a python codebase i suggested him otherwise but the guy was reluctant. i kind of disappointed.
money is a important thing in life which may give you a "good life" but this "good life" is different from person to person like a person like to have a smart-phone and consider it as a part of "good life" whereas another person just wants to have any ordinary phone and consider it as a part of good life. The point is one needs to know what he wanted money for, not he other way round. It has to means, not end of life
