I am using it together with my tiling wm and they work pretty well together. It even has a visual mode that allows text selection and yanking.

Funny how they still use the old iOS theme on their player's seek bar. It has been years since the introduction of new UI and I still find it suck. Look at the share button on "Edit selfie" video, it just feels like a toy design project of some students.

I am not in such situation (yet), but if I were you, I would probably learn new technologies just for fun. Side projects require some level of commitment to yield results, which is admittedly hard when you have kids already.

It can be free but not that convenient. Pirated content needs to be checked to make sure it's not fake nor malicious, not to mention the technical downsides of the torrent protocol (large bandwidth consumption, insecure, easy to block, slow speed on non port-forwarding routers etc)

It's much easier to buy and download games on Steam or watch movies on Netflix nowadays.

I've done apt-get install node on ubuntu and got a legacy package. Would you go to check if apt-get install firefox really install the browser and do it every single time you install something? It's not totally a bad excuse I think.

Alt+D is my favorite shortcut to focus Chrome omnibox :(
