I also post links sometimes, not often.
For Russians - m Russian - it's clear from my name that I'm a girl. not sure about non Russians.
I do not do anything special DURING the day except occasional (1-2 times a week) yoga sessions for 30-40 min at lunch
I was surprised to see that so little exercise had such a big impact on my well-being.
How long did you stay on this diet?
I am on high protein diet (proteins in grams ~= my weight in pounds) and I take a fiber supplement to make sure I am Ok on the bathroom side of the things. I noticed I need to take more fiber (27-30 grams, which is above recommended 25 grams) comparing to the days when I do not eat a lot of proteins.
I wonder how much fiber one needs to take when on ketogenic diet.
I also use Photoshop CS2 (which Abobe started giving away about 3-4 years ago), and oh boy is its Text tool much more advanced. CS2 was released in 2005 and the latest version of Gimp (2.8.10) still cannot compare :( From my point of view, working with text is a pain in Gimp :(
Also, action recording - I think it is a highly valuable feature for anyone who processes at least 1 photo a week. It seems now so inefficient to repeat the same 4-5 steps again and again and again.
They want about $40USD per picture of 72dpi, which is waaaaaaaaay overpriced. On Shutterstock, you can get 2 images for $29 with the most expensive plan (not sure about the resolution, though).
No wonder they failed.

so agree with you!
poor people often work even more than rich because their salary is low and they have to take extra hustle just to make the ends meet.
Getting a decent salary, which allows getting out of poverty, may free up quite a lot of time.
> "rich" that we discuss here have managed to over leverage themselves such that they have to work hard to meet obligations
agree again :) I think they just carry take a lot on their shoulders just because they like to (thus they "have managed to over leverage themselves ")
Regardless, you compare apples to oranges. I believe it is HIGHLY incorrect to compare the number of homeless people from cities located in DIFFERENT countries.
Comparing to the US, Canada has much stronger social policies including financial aid and free health care that lead to a smaller number of people sleeping on the streets who ended up there because of financial troubles and losing their home/livelihood.
Quebec province is even better in this sense. In Montreal specifically, our hobos are mostly drunks and young people who had troubles at home.
Here are the numbers of people experiencing homeless state on a given night:
Canada: 35,000 / 35,749,600 = 9.8/10k [0]
USA: 56,4708 / 320,090,857 = 17.64/10k [1]

I live in Montreal, Canada, which is even more up north than NYC. That's what our homeless guys are doing when it's freezing outside.
I will keep trying and adjusting.
BTW, do u run on snow? Jogging is my favorite winter activity hehe. I run up to -25C (-13F).
I am curious to hear if you have any experience running in winter.
I did not try to change the shoes or see a therapist. I also think I tried to run too often/much, like min 30 min every day :-|
But recently I developed a new kind of pain... it happens when I bend my knees. The worse part it now hurts even if I cycle longer than 10 min! :(
I guess I will keep digging on this subject. Thanks for your advice anyway!
how long did it take you to see changes with IF? I have been doing it maybe about 6 months already...
meanwhile, will go and read leangains.com :)
in my case (see my other comment in this thread) I do not feel it gives me any benefits in terms of body, only psychological ones.
What it did help with was curbing my occasional binge eating, reducing cravings, and helping to realise that I do not need all time and I won't die if I go without a food for a while :) While these were great psychological consequences, nothing changed on the physical side :(
what am I doing wrong?
I also count calories but I have a cheat day every week. I feel intermitted fastening is a bit overrated and not super useful without other pats like the ones you mentioned.
