Therapy and maturity and ditching some bad friends made a world of difference.
At some point my then ex-wife (we've since reconciled) was google-stalking me and came across these entries. At some point they became outlandish enough that she contacted me to ask what was going on in my life. There was a very confused conversation where I had no idea what she was talking about and she was somewhat concerned about my health and safety. It wasn't until I talked to a relative and started googling myself with some specific terms that I came across the entries and was able to figure out what was happening. I emailed the individual running the project and asked to end the entries and if possible remove them from the internet to avoid further confusion.
Photographing these was a challenge. My widest non fisheye lens (18mm on APS-C sensor) just doesn't capture more than a couple of planets and the moon at a time. Saturn is way off high in the sky to the south while Venus, the Moon, and Mars are all to the east. I snapped off a panorama sequence but Lightroom wasn't able to automatically combine them so I'm going to be manually picking out control points in Hugin to try to get most or all of these into one image. I should have tried at least a couple of shots with the fisheye but I don't have much experience with that and was a little sleepy.

You can turn on the various accessibility features and try them yourselves. While I was already aware of the 'voiceover' features, I was blown away by the braille keyboard and how quickly she could type with it.
Blind people use TTS set at ridiculous speeds that make my 1.5x podcast playback seem glacial. Even back in the late 80s I remember a blind classmate who had a portable electronic typewriter thing that read her entries back to her at rapid speed.

I love the full spectrum of it, from my DSLR to my iPhone. I'd love to see camera companies embrace the ability to capture the raw data to make deeper processing available and to open up the pipeline and let me tweak to my preference.
Seriously though, I have enough empathy and awareness from supporting elderly friends and family navigate the digital world that I could help build seriously awesome on-boarding experiences.
I've been watching the College of Dupage's satellite weather view [0] for the past year with wildfires and atmospheric rivers coming through.
Select a sector to zoom in to and a data product or combination and you have a nice animation of the recent satellite view [1]

They had a wonderful graph of various weather parameters in a nice slippy zoom interface that made it easy to visualize the forecast. It was built in Flash and they decided that a HTML version wasn't viable due to declining ad revenue.
Some appreciation and screenshots of the old version:

Based on the series of blog posts / documentation opinion pieces that have been posted so far, I'm quite interested in playing around with this despite being mostly in the relational SQL camp. Everything I've read is thoughtful, well reasoned, and rather practical and the author is exploring a rather interesting problem space.
I'd love to see a mashup of RxDB[1] and absurd-sql[2] that brings a distributed SQL datastore to the browser.
Original model implemented in NetLogo (as described on the page).
Some papers I found looking for the model:

Wish I had some time to explore making a game out of something like this while preserving as much of the accurate simulation as possible.

The Arch Linux wiki has some description of their real time patches:
This allows for stored procedures in a T-SQL variant that gets compiled to C. It is on my list to check out but I don't have any experience with it yet.
