mustyoshi··on Am I the only person who can’t get a job?
You should become familiar with Git and at least one of the hosted options github/gitlab. You should become familiar with docker and docker compose, potentially kubernetes as well.

Also wouldn't hurt to know at least something about a major cloud provider like AWS/GCP/Azure.

At a minimum I would want git and docker experience, but really (since my company is cloud based), I would pass on anybody without AWS experience unless their resume was THAT impressive.

How does making salary public and not asking about applicants pay history work? If you tell them your title and employer, can't they just look up what you probably got paid?

Either way the lawmaker is at fault for adding it.

A lawmaker isn't legally required to include your provision just because you donated to them.

Most businesses accept crypto through a payment processor. It shouldn't be much different than accepting credit cards or apple/google pay.

I believe Bitpay and Square are some of the largest.

Edit: what I mean is the customer can pay in whatever, and you get the USD equivalent.

mustyoshi··on BTC Hashrate dropped another 27% down ~62% form peak now at 2019 levels
Sort of. All things being equal, lower difficulty means more profitable. But the difficulty is updated every 2 weeks (1440 blocks) to try and stay at 10 mins between blocks, so any profitability bump will only last for up to 4 weeks (the first retarget may not be fully enough if the hashrate drop occurs in the middle)
mustyoshi··on Daily Mail owner sues Google over search results
Why should the public be given access to that information? Google should be under no obligation to provide any of that unless we "nationalize" the idea of search engines and declare them a human right. Until then, it's a voluntary service to be consumed.
mustyoshi··on Home ownership is the West’s biggest economic-policy mistake
It would cause prices to go up because in order to sell it has to he up to code, meaning renovations. It would likely cause consolidation of ownership, something like 70% of all apartments in my area are owned by the same company. And since they have consistent rules... It can be hard for certain people (those with criminal records) to find affordable housing.

”60% monthly salary on a mortgage"

I think everyone would agree that that is not financial freedom, but it's commonly accepted and taught that your rent/mortgage shouldn't be more than 30% of your take home.

Is it more or less concerning than when humans do the same?

Autonomous driving is still a relatively young beast. I don't have specific numbers infront of me, but I imagine mile for mile, autonomous vehicles are still safer than humans.
