ms123··on Show HN: Minimal, no-JS web forum software
Love it! I built one using go (https://git.sr.ht/~m15o/vpub) and it powers https://forum.status.cafe/

Thanks for sharing it :)

ms123··on Ansiwave BBS, a modern BBS with ANSI art and MIDI music
There’s also https://midnight.pub (much more low key though!)
ms123··on Show HN: Linkhorse – A Simple Bookmark Organizer
Really enjoying the simplicity. Also, great homepage: people get to see what it's all about directly. What are your plans moving forward?
ms123··on Show HN: I made a collaborative ASCII editor
This is awesome, great work! What inspired you to create it?
ms123··on Show HN: The original littr.me, an easy way to put HTML on the web
Another place to host your html is https://ichi.city
ms123··on Show HN: Dfeed – a feed reader you can use without an account
That makes sense!
ms123··on Show HN: Dfeed – a feed reader you can use without an account
Love the simplicity! Congrats! What would it take to turn it into a stand-alone html file that could be "double clicked" and used as an application? It almost seems to work, but I wasn't able to add new feeds.
ms123··on Keep a Log
if anyone's interested in keeping a public log, i maintain smol.pub.
ms123··on Telnet BBS Guide
If you're looking for a simple web-based one, have a look at https://midnight.pub. :)

ms123··on Forget Twitter Threads; Write a Blog Post Instead
Two places to set up simple/minimal blogs

- https://smol.pub/ (shameless plug)

ms123··on If I could bring one thing back to the internet it would be blogs (2020)
Have a look at https://nightfall.city and https://smol.pub. Both were created to scratch this itch.

ms123··on Irish webapp to recreate pub atmosphere at home
Cheers for that! I also miss going to the pub, so I created midnight.pub.
ms123··on I Miss My Bar
Hey I miss going to pubs as well! That’s why I’ve opened https://midnight.pub

cheers!

ms123··on Ask HN: What are you working on?
https://midnight.pub - a virtual pub to unwind after a long day
ms123··on Ask HN: Show me your half baked project
I’ve been working on a “virtual pub” - an internet message board where people can talk about what’s on their mind with strangers. It’s fully open source (code in golang). Works on web and Gemini: https://midnight.pub
ms123··on Next Gen Static Blogging
I've been using this technique on midnight.pub as well, and it's working surprisingly well.
ms123··on Show HN: I built the world's worst CMS
If that's the world's worst CMS, I must have the worst taste! I love the brutalist simplicity. It's a tool that behaves like one would expect.
ms123··on Ask HN: Favourite blogs?
https://midnight.pub if you are looking for regular people introspecting about their days.
ms123··on Show HN: An alternative RSS reader and search engine for news and content
Congratulations! It's been a while since I got excited for a news application, yet what you've built is very intriguing and makes me want to learn even more. I really like how the app feels fast, loads well, and the search is fast. Will keep an eye on it!
ms123··on Manifesto for Async Software Development
Good content, but for the next manifesto, let's drop that vintage background and style. ;-)
