There's a lot going against you as time goes on. Other people roll out apps, technology changes which could suddenly cut your income -- so yea, highly recommend you diversify.
I'll update this with a link if I find the article again.

Here is the result. The images would slide left to right as a slideshow, and the box shadows are on the borders to create the "layered" effect. The images however do indeed use real image shadows. http://i.imgur.com/0D7WQ.png
1. I applied in Winter 2010 with a published site that had been around for 6 months already, 1500 users. Solo founder with 1 remote developer.
2. No.
It was a straightforward technical screening but the reason I remember it was because of the verbal emptiness from the interviewer. As I coded for him live on the spot I swear to god he was doing his own work or doing something else. Often I would ask him questions, comment, or walk him through my code and he showed absolutely no interest and often got lost saying things like "hey wait a second, what did you say?" as I heard him typing away at his keyboard, lol.
All you needed to say is that they were defective and they needed a recall, no reason to try and blame someone else for your problem.
I bought from you guys to support you, but please take some responsibility.

1. Can anyone compare WakeMakes with that clock thing that tracks your eye movement by wearing an eyemask? The name of the clock escapes me at the moment, will edit this post once I remember.
edit: it's called Zeo
2. If I know I wake up at least once a night to use the bahtroom out of habit does this disrupt the wake-up system in any way?
Times like this remind me how ridiculous consumer expectations can be. People still don't get that product development takes time and energy -- they just like to criticize with their elitist expectations only because they own an iPhone.
But yes, this app is great. Keep it up!
