Sure, tons of people don't, too. That's why creditors exist. When you use a credit card you're funding the impoverishment of others.

Granted, there's not much way to avoid that in american society.

I never got that logic—the US has been in armed conflict in various forms since the end of WWII, whether directly or through the CIA. It seems more like nukes enable violence from my perspective.

I don't think that's possible with any line of credit. Our entire society is built off of interest rates.
