In the end it's subjective, but SF gets 24% more sunshine year-round, and 42% less rain, so they balance each other out. Can't go wrong with either IMO!

Trying to give a weather score to 115 cities will always lead to a few arguments :D The weather score is supposed to a guide to what 'most people' would prefer.

SF has plenty of sunshine and mild temps year-round, which many consider much better than, say, somewhere in UAE or Finland.
