mngdtt··on Twitch Reverses Policy on 'Artistic Nudity' After Just Two Days
On one hand you are right. On the other I understand they don't want their website to turn into Chaturbate.

Compare to our youth unemployment rates to see why this is criminal: https://www.statista.com/statistics/813014/youth-unemploymen...
mngdtt··on WebP is so great except it's not (2021)
All of these new formats like webp or avif look like shit. They look like screenshots from videos, which is what they literally are.
mngdtt··on Apple partly halts Beeper's iMessage app again, suggesting a long fight ahead
As a user, I am very well served by remote attestation when it is used to stop cheaters in videogames or spammers in messaging platforms.
mngdtt··on Intel CEO: 'The entire industry is motivated to eliminate the CUDA market'
Funny, because the entire industry is motivated to move away from x86 too. I wonder if he'd like that to happen.
mngdtt··on Proton Mail gets a desktop app for encrypted email and calendar
webmail works fine without an internet connection, gmail does it. You need to write a PWA.
mngdtt··on Windows AI Studio Preview
Thanks !!!
mngdtt··on Windows AI Studio Preview
Installed this, and it didn't let me do anything. Despite the fact the readme says stuff runs locally, first it asked me to link to my github account, and then all models required me to ask someone (I think meta?) for permission on github or use a huggingface token or whatever.

So I uninstalled it and now my wsl prompt starts with (base) and I don't know how to disable it and all my python scripts are broken because they can't find all the libraries I've installed from pip throughout the years.

0/10 would not recommend.

mngdtt··on My doomed career as a North Korean novelist
Practically everything you read on the western media about NK is completely made up. It's a country with a seemingly endless supply of fan fiction!

My favourite kind of fan fiction about NK is... let me think... ah yes, when Kim Jong Un has had some family member executed... only for them to reappear a few months later.

mngdtt··on OpenCola
Yes, I agree. I feel sick at the thought of eating 10 sugar cubes but I can happily drink a can. Silly is an appropriate word.
mngdtt··on OpenCola
It's really tough seeing the amount of sugar that this recipe has. Really puts things into perspective, compared to simply drinking the end product from a can.
mngdtt··on Google Promises Unlimited Storage; Cancels; Tells Journalist Life's Work Deleted
The title is wrong. He had the option of paying for the space at least for the time that it takes him to download and archive the data himself.
mngdtt··on Why Are So Many Americans Dying Early?
Because of global warming, evidently.
mngdtt··on Tesla Recalls 2M Cars to Fix Autopilot Safety Flaws
"recall" is a malicious term in this context because it sounds like you need to take your car somewhere and have it out of service for a few days.
mngdtt··on GM says it's dropping Apple CarPlay and Android Auto because they're unsafe
That's really odd. As far as I know carplay just sends video data to the screen and the screen shows it. It's like an hdmi cable in that regard. I would say it's a problem with your car, then. My volkswagen has absolutely no issues with carplay.
mngdtt··on GM says it's dropping Apple CarPlay and Android Auto because they're unsafe
If it's sluggish then it's not working perfectly.
mngdtt··on GM says it's dropping Apple CarPlay and Android Auto because they're unsafe
I think you need to upgrade your phone. I have never had these issues with a (more or less recent) iPhone.
