I'm in this camp, and to top it off, I interview folks. It really is unfair to expect someone to be able to do something I myself probably wouldn't be able to do right now off the cuff.

I've been beating the market for a few years now (not 600% annualized of course). It's harder to find capital than you think it is. But, then again, I guess you're right. In order to consistently beat the market I've focused on beating the market and not trying to raise funds, so maybe that's why I've been able to do it. Kind of a catch-22.

While I don't disagree with you, another thing Buffett has said is, we can't predict what interest rates will be in the future, so why bother?

You can only invest given the information you have today.

This doesn't take into account interest rates.

Buffett himself has said recently that given the current interest rates stocks are not overvalued.
