mitchtbaum··on Discord is a black hole for information
Hence the quote, "Issue queue or it didn't happen." That was Drupal's idiom and it still applies to projects in general.

> While all of these other communication mechanisms are great, esp. for hashing things out more effectively in real time, it's absolutely critical that a summary of what was talked about make its way back here for the benefit of those who couldn't be there, including Google, and yourself 2 weeks later when you totally forget what you talked about. :P There needs to be a URL to point people at who have questions later on. However. As a text-based medium, the issue queues are an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE medium through which to have a heated discussion about whatever. For that you turn to one of the others.

mitchtbaum··on How a hypermedia approach can address usability concerns with multi-page apps
I like the potential for sending minimal document elements/objects, though it seems like HTMX/Intercooler/Unpoly features should be built into the browser. Unpoly, for example, has its own entire reimplementation of fetch():

https://github.com/unpoly/unpoly/blob/4854c7ccb268890a9522c6...

and it uses several X-HTTP-Headers, which could be standardized.

Do any browsers have the early workings of a "native web application sdk"?

Lighttouch is Speakeasy's Web Application Framework.

With Speakeasy I'm aiming at a complete solution stack.

mitchtbaum··on A New Back End for Cranelift
I have a very powerful Rust transpiler back end that uses semantic programming. My profile has links to the programming engine and the details are put together across many semantically organized issues. The software still needs work and the code generator still needs Rust's lexemes to get to the next stage. The #wg-grammar issue and Discord channel has those plans

Speakeasy, Lightouch, Jazz is a fifth-generation programming language. I find only small hurdlesv when showing it to programmers. My challenge now is mainly getting stable shelter so I can compile these notes and hand them off to people.

I liked it. If you didn't like it, as Ice-T said, "don't have the player hate the game". Voting rings work now and I could sure use one. If you really want to change the game, take a look at my comments; they're well worth your votes.
mitchtbaum··on Memory safe ‘curl’ for a more secure internet
I'm unifying Rust's async HTTP implementations H1, H2, H3 and Google's tarpc in Rust~Actix~Torchbear. I just don't have a lot of time now sice my house got broken and I don't have enough money to rent anywhere. It also needs a lot of work on the parsing layer, and the laptops with my notes on them are hard to keep with me as I move around.

There's beauty in this with the fluency in which complex applications like the coming secure social network, Radiojade, are built. See this example:

Torchbear makes this very simple using the Gut version control system. It's Speakeasy

Much better even to parse the data in Lightouch and save it in ContentDB
