The parent company has no interest in that location ever closing. They're not house flippers or day traders. They rely on stable long-term income, not random tiny spikes a few times a year. Franchise fees are barely even a blip on the radar of a company like McDonald's.
The entire concept of money laundering requires the money be illegally obtained. Simply moving money that you legally acquired around is not money laundering. Stop using words you do not know the meaning of.
Zoning in Japan is done at a national level, not local. Once an area is designated for housing, housing goes there. Because of this there is a constant flow of new housing, which drives the price of old houses down.
This is not possible anywhere zoning is done at a local level. Anytime one person has the ability to stop another from building you immediately create NIMBYdom and where the NIMBY exists, more housing does not because the NIMBY cares about nothing but their own property value. But that also feeds into the insane American idea of housing as an investment rather than a place to keep birds from crapping on you.
Until the NIMBY is eliminated, and housing is no longer sold as an investment, housing costs will not go down.
The mantle is solid. You would have to drill way deep into the mantle before you encountered liquid rock.
Volcanoes don't work like that. Even if you drilled directly into a magma chamber, not much would happen. This has been done inadvertently a handful of times. https://phys.org/news/2009-06-scientists-drill-magma.html Basically volcanoes only happen when there's an extreme amount of pressure from below.
Learn the difference between a legitimate loan and predatory practices. There is a distinct difference between capitalizing on a market and pure exploitation. The Wall Street/Harvard Business ideal is the latter.
Software development attracts these things because software development isn't as firmly entrenched in tradition as doctors or lawyers are. There are way more people that are open to implementing ways of accomplishing tasks that are more open and efficient than there ever could be in most other realms.
Accessed a controlled access server room to attach his computer to so he could download from the JSTOR repositories. Learn to read.
>Incorrect and inflammatory; again, a simple check of Wikipedia suggests that you don't have your facts right.
Again, learn to read. "Cumulative maximum" means that if every single crime, which he admitted to committing I remind you, was given the maximum sentence he would have spent 35 years in jail.
Except he was never going to get 35 years or anything even close to it. Its just disingenuous jackoffs such as yourself that propagate this number because you can't fucking read and can't be bothered to learn facts.
Swartz was offered six months. He killed himself instead. Swartz was a fucking privileged pussy that likely never had a hard day in his life and bailed the moment reality hit him.
Which means nothing except that I've seen a lot of words and remember them.
Swartz accessed a system he did not have permission to access. He did so by entering a restricted area he did not have permission to access. While I agree with his general ideal, what he did was an act of civil disobedience.
The single most basic tenet of civil disobedience is that you are willing to go to jail.
Swartz was apparently unable to think beyond the immediate and to the inevitable, obvious, end result of him being charged with a crime that he blatantly and admittedly committed.
Six months house arrest, which given that he had no criminal record, would likely have been halved or reduced even further. This is absolutely in line with the crime that he, again, admitted to committing.
Mitnick's sentence shows exactly what these maximums mean in regards to real-world sentencing.
I can guarantee you there are no top-level VFX houses or game developers that ever speak to first-line support.
If you're not top level you have no need to waste money on a programmer that will likely be sitting on his ass 23/7. No, that isn't a typo. The vast majority of the time these systems work as intended. When they don't, who do you think is going to respond better? The multitude of professionals that are paid to work on this code day in and day out... or Steve, who spends most of his time pretending he isn't shopping for waifu pillows? WE KNOW IT'S YOU, STEVE. CLEAR YOUR BROWSER HISTORY.
Just like a programming language.
Keeping it in a programming paradigm, CAD is more like assembly. It's different from platform to platform and even if you know one there's no guarantee you can make another work. Contrast that with 3d modeling packages which mostly use the same concepts, and order of operations rarely matters.
I'm sorry you're so shit at your job that switching IDEs screws you up. Not all of us are so incompetent.
Even then, Pixar's advantage was the people they hired and allowed to thrive... not Renderman.
How many people are actually paid by the Blender Foundation for their contributions to the software? How many fewer employees do they have than a company like Autodesk or Maxon?
The simple fact is that FLOSS is the outsourcing of large swathes of development cost to those stupid or interested enough to make something happen for free on their own time.
What do you do when that interest wanes?
You're fucked.
