Thank you so much for your response!

This is really helpful-- the way we're building our system gives ours customers their own instance (so update at your convenience). So this feedback makes us feel good!

And sorry to hear about your experience with Parse. Building a startup is hard enough.

If you consider using a BaaS in the future but want a different / more flexible experience, please get in touch: falling.hill@gmail.com (or drop me your contact info and I'll get in touch).

Please do! Why Firebase specifically? And (more importantly to me) do you anticipate moving off later?

(If you'd prefer to move this off HN, can I email or call you? That way I'll also get to send you a thank-you package!)

Presseract, unlike other newsreaders, isn't just for personal consumption-- it's outward and inward.

So if a public figure like Paul Graham were to make a profile there, they'd want to show the world the content they care about--both what they wrote and what they read--to engage with their audience.

I would change this "MailTheHouse.com will find your representative, print and then mail your letter for you so contacting your rep is as easy as sending an e-mail" into series of 2-3 bullet points. Emphasize the "finds your representative point"-- I doubt many people know who their reps are so this value prop. will be especially interesting.

Also, consider just collecting the email to reduce sign-up friction (or make it very clear that the first/last names are optional).

Very cool idea by the way-- is this to be a social for-profit? A non-profit? How do you plan on making money? Just curious.
