Makes downgrading hard if you don't track your usage and get used to it
To do what? If nothing happens it wasn't worth it to point it it.
So apparently you care enough about this topic to complain were is your solutions than to add something useful to it?
I actually don't even care?
My wife is plenty. I even take pictures or videos of things I experience and share it with her later because I want her to do the same.
And I thought about poly and I discovered that I wouldn't want to have a group chat to share this type of experience just to share it with all my partners equally.
Do people really hate others just because they life their lives different?
Even we run into that issue 5 years ago.
But k8s is still very young and the problem is solved for 5-6 years
And in smaller setups you would have a shared cluster or fully managed like gke etc.
The control plane is ha and you can upgrade one after the other independent of your workers.
With workers you can do that too.
That feels much less like a snowflake and more like snow.
And this takes away any motivation to solve problems and invest in storage etc.
It would make more sense for the energy company itself to do this but never with some other company.
Nonetheless it's a myth that we constantly have so much unplanned overproduction.
Don't forget: Bitcoin market is disconnected with the energy market.
Besides that, the banking system is already optimized due to the capitalism behind it.
Btw. The crypto bros tell you that this doesn't matter because you should use lightning anyway (what an irony)
Like building more power lines or converting it into transportable energy like H2.
Bitcoin plays in a different market and does the opposite to this .
But we know in which world we bring humans in.
Climate change, rassism, bulling etc.
To create their future workers/slaves.
I believe creating new life is playing 'god'.
It's easier to never exist than life life.
This has nothing to do what you thought
Nonetheless nothing I condemn.
At the end of the day it's harder not to have kids and stop this cycle than not, thanks to evolution.
I'm lost on the article. Sounds to me they had someone doing this without any DB experience at all.
I would not have written a blog post about an obvious choice of having some cheap nvme based 'warehouse' server.
But I do wanna see there explain statement tbh and how they store the data in their columns.
